Using specialised self-cleaning and solar-control glass means less maintenance, more comfort and no hassle. We have a range of glazing solutions to ensure that you save energy - and money - on your utility bills.
Self-cleaning glass. Using a permanent coating that doesn't need to be re-applied, this type of glass not only stays cleaner for longer, it's also easier to clean. Ideal for hard to reach areas such as roofs, stubborn marks simply wash away - even without using detergents. It works by harnessing the power of UV rays and water (rain) to efficiently remove dry water marks, atmospheric pollutants, dust, resin and insect residues from the external surface of the glass. The more exposure it has to both the sun and rain, the cleaner it will stay for longer.
Solar-control glass. Reflecting more than 60% of the sun's heat, solar-control glass keeps your home and conservatory more comfortable in the summer months, whilst retaining heat and conserving energy during the winter. Specialised films reduce uncomfortable glare, and a transparent metallic coating reflects the heat generated inside your home back into the room, rather than allowing it to escape through the glass. At the same time, it allows optimum amounts of sunlight to pass through the glass, making it an excellent option to choose.
